Dr. Eric Neil Paulino Subong, MD

The front office staff is so incompetent and recalcitrant that they will one day get this office in some SERIOUS trouble. Don't know what their hiring practices are, must be relatives. Competence and customer service are 0 priorities. Once you make it past the dubious praetorian guard things are okay, though.

My experience was great I had a detached retina and I was seen the same day and scheduled for surgery that evening I had no time to be scared follow up appointments were scheduled immediately friendly knowledgeable staff great ambience and wonderful. People

The doctor for me in on the same day. He was very thorough and explained in detail what was going on with my eye

I have been seeing Dr. Subong since he came to Bellingham. I have severe eye problems and have received way above excellent care from him as well as compassion and empathy. I would recommend him highly.

Very professional and amazing staff.

I would second the comment about a rude receptionist. Seems to have no interest in doing her job and acted annoyed that I needed to reschedule an appointment. The physical office is nice enough but because there are different rooms for various tests and treatments, it feels very frenetic and a bit chaotic as you move from room to room, back to the waiting room, back to another room, etc. In an attempt to be efficient, the office is throwing patient comfort out the window.

This doctor is absolutely amazing and has a great team too!!

Receptionist was rude.

Does not make me feel rushed. He takes his time and is very thorough.
