Treated my mother @ outpatient surgery center. Did block. Nurse shook her head reading his post-open notes. Said that she had relief, which she did not. In fact, he never even asked her. Dr. Tallarico seemed incapable of making eye contact during what little conversation took place. Nurse said he always notes proceedure as being a success without asking the patient if they have a reduction in pain. Nurses don't seem to respect him. That says volumes for me.

My mum had a block by Dr. Tallarico. As soon as the block was completed he was off to the next one - but not before writing in the notes that it was successful in relieving her pain. It was not successful, nor did he ever ask her if it was a success. The nurse was very upset by this, stating he constantly wrote procedures up in this manner without regard to the patient. Sounds like a factory to me. The next block was with Dr. Trusilo - a totally different experience. A very caring physician in comparison - in fact there was no comparison! The nurses stated she would be the physician of choice for their families.

I've been having Dr. T do all my nerve blocks and nerve burns for the last few years. Can't say enough about him. He's caring, great, answers any and all questions and if you ask him to suggest how to help with the pain, he'll tell you.

Its a mill, stay away.

Although my only experiences with Dr. Tallarico have been when getting two spinal injections, I've been impressed by his friendly, kind manner. Seems skilled with the injections. Always willing to answer my questions before the procedures. I've seen several MDs at this practice and he is my favorite so far. The practice is a classic pain clinic with a large staff. You typically see the MD on the first visit and then get assigned to a PA/NP for the remainder of your care. The MDs always do the major procedures, though. I've seen 5 PA/NPs over the course of the few years I've been going there. Knowledge, skill, and personality vary widely so if you are assigned someone you don't care for, ask for a change before leaving the practice.

Avoid this practice at all costs!!! Poorly trained and miserable staff!

I have been coming to Dr Tallarico For a few yrs Now He is the Best At What He does !!!!!! He cares about your over all Well Being so Glad He is One of My Dr.

the doctor is fine, once you get through Soviet- like layers of bureaucracy to get an appoinment or have a question answered. This practice must be run by a sadist, given that their patients are in pain yet have to wait longer than in other practices to get messages through or to set up appoinments. If you find another option, go for it.
