Dr. Eric Walchak, DO

Dr. Walchak was my doctor during my stay at Metro Health for a hypertensive incident. I am so thankful that he was in the hospital on that day. He was compassionate and intelligent with my treatment and 1 year later I am doing great.

What I most appreciated about Dr. Walchak is his excellent listening skills and his ability to communicate in patient centered conversation. Explaining complexity of cardiovascular system, in a comprehensive clinical environment , is useful when addressing peers. In my opinion, the sign of a great doctor is the ability to speak, to the patient , on a level the patient comprehends. That's exactly what I feel Dr Walchak does.

My mother-in-law was hospitalized for heart issues. Dr. Walchak was very thorough and took his time explaining the diagnosis to us. Very respectful! Great manners!

Dr. Walchak is always kind, courteous, considerate and most of fun to be with. He doesn't make people nervous, he is always honest when he talks to you regarding any problem you may be having. He takes the time to talk to you and explain things, some docs don't. I enjoy my appts. with him, because I always know I'll hear the truth.
