Dr. Eric Charles Walter, MD

Dr. Eric Walter is an excellent doctor who is willing to do extra for his patients. My wife was very nervous about a lung neoplasm. Because of increased pain, she checked into the emergency room and requested a pulmonologist. The ER doctor said her situation was not really an emergency, so no Pulmonologist would be called. After hearing about the situation, Dr. Walter came anyway. He arrived after his regular office hours, provided a full exam, medical history review, explained her CT images and medical facts, and a plan for future care. He ordered a PET scan, which will shorten diagnosis time by 7-14 days, critical for a possible lung cancer patient. His kind professionalism calmed and relieved my wife of anxiety and panic. Dr. Walterâ??s caring and willingness to go beyond his normal responsibilities are greatly appreciated. In our 9 years with Kaiser, Dr. Walterâ??s rapport with patients is at the top of Kaiser doctorsâ?? performances.
