Dr. Eric Weinstock is the best.

Medication Resistant Depression consumes your life along with your friend’s and family’s. After living with depression for over 40 years I finally determined a change in medication was just not worth the disappointment anymore. I decided to try Ketamine Treatments and Dr. Weinstock was recommended. I wish I could say it was a miracle and my depression was completely lifted, but unfortunately that was not the case. They did help but I still face the daily symptoms of depression. Through all these treatments, Dr. Weinstock has been caring and concerned. The fact that he has not given up on me pretty much says it all. Even though Ketamine treatments were not a complete success for me, I still highly recommend trying them and definitely going to Dr. Weinstock for them.

After a lifetime of struggle with severe, treatment resistant clinical depression-I was ready to throw in the towel. Mentally and physically exhausted, I was (barely) functioning as yet another alphabet soup of anti-depressants tried and failed. Then I read about Ketamine and within a week was meeting with Dr. Weinstock. The first thing that struck me was his professional but warm personality. I knew within 20 minutes I'd found a 'keeper,' which as anyone looking for a new Psychiatrist knows is not always easy. And since that initial appointment I've only grown to like Dr. Weinstock and his Staff even more. Indeed-at the risk of sounding like a cliche,' Dr. Weinstock is probably the best Psychiatrist I've ever had. He's up on the latest treatments and therapies, and unlike so many "Shrink's" from my past, (10+plus) didn't stretch out my agony by hesitating This was critical. I'm extremely knowledgeable about my illness and knew Ketamine offered the possibility of relief. Dr.… Weinstock agreed and within a few days I had my first Infusion Therapy. Too depressed to be nervous, I was merely curious, finding it to be a mild, pleasant experience. And while I didn't notice a major lift in mood, I did feel a bit better. Subsequent treatments were stronger, until the fourth Infusion struck the balance. I'm less depressed, feel better about myself and have started setting goals for the future-something I haven't done in years. I feel extremely fortunate to have found Dr, Weinstock and drive two, four-hour 'round-trips' a week to see him-bypassing many closer Psychiatrists along the way. He's that darn good. I

I called 4 separate times to make an appointment as a new patient. The first time, I was advised I would receive a call back the very next day. I waited a week. Never received a call. The 2nd and 3rd times I called (days apart), no one answered so I left a polite voicemail asking for a call back. I never received a call back after either of those requests. I waited. I called back weeks later. Finally, someone tells me, "Dr. Weinstock is only taking self-pay patients." WOW. So, maybe the insurance companies should know that you are not accepting patients. Its all about money, huh.

Dr. Weinstock is a wonderful psychiatrist. He is an excellent listener and he took an extensive history including a review of all the past medicines I have ever taken. He made some changes to my meds and I have never felt better. Before him, I had been to 4 other psychiatrists over the previous 9 years and none of them helped me as much as Dr. Weinstock. And his assistant is extremely pleasant and helpful too. Trust me, you will get excellent care from Dr. Weinstock.
