I am an adult cardiac surgeon who performs all cardiac procedures including coronary artery bypass and valve repair/replacement. My areas of special focus includes aortic surgery (including repair of root and arch aneurysms, aortic valve repair, minimally invasive aortic surgery, TEVAR, TAVR and hybrid procedures) as well as heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. My goal is to provide the most innovative care possible in a kind and compassionate manner treating each patient with respect and dignity.

This man is beyond genius. He has amazing bed side manner. He is kind, gifted, tremendously skilled and confident. He is exactly what I look for in a surgeon. The method and the precise procedure he did on me could not be duplicated anywhere else in the country, and I searched long and hard. I owe my life to this man. In my opinion, he is probably one of the best, if not the best, thoracic surgeons in the country. I consider him a gift from God. I owe him my life.

Dr. Weiss performed an emergency operation on my aortic dissection at St. Lukes hospital. He literally saved my life! His quiet confidence and professionalism assured me and my wife we were in the right place with the right people. That means so much during those first scary days of hospitalization and helped me to recover more quickly. My recovery is progressing rapidly with little pain and no complications. Dr. Weiss and his team used the most advanced techniques to preserve and repair my heart. What could have been a tragedy turned into a celebration of life!

Dr Weiss is a great heart surgeon. He communicated openly with me about his recommendations for the procedure(s) and listened to my desires. I would highly recommend him. His ability to do the minimally invasive procedures is leading edge. I was back to riding my bike and light jogging 8 weeks after my open heart procedure. The entire staff in his office are fabulous to work with.

Dr. Weiss performed quadruple bypass surgery on me with what I assume was about a 90 min. notice. He was confident,precise, and communicated clearly with everyone. I knew I would survive after our conversation. I owe you large Dr Weiss, Thank you...
