Dr. Eric Michael Wexler, MD

I'm bipolar and told him that I got into a fist fight which got me fired at my job. Without any medical degree behind his response, he said I just need to be smarter than that. I felt like crap the rest of the call which he was 15 minutes late to and left 5 minutes early. He continued to make bad jokes throughout the whole appointment, and they just made me feel like he didn't take this serious at all. I'm really trying to improve my life, and this guy isn't helping.

would not recommend to anyone looking for help with meds or just anyone looking to be spoken to like a baseline human being

Most miserable excuse for a human, let alone a physician. His one hour of mimic service was only looking at his laptop, asking irrelevant questions. Second visit, no doctor Wexler. Substitute, after a one hour and a half, his recommendation, " get a pill cutter." s

My daughter has been treated for ADD and depression for close to 10 years, since she was in middle school. Nothing has ever helped and the meds alwyas made her worse. However, her therapist convinced her to see a psychiatrist again who specializes in her problems. The initial paperwork is LONG, be prepared! However, he did the most throrough interview I have ever seen, and Ive been with her to a long of office visits over the years. He diagnosed her as bipolar and explained why what she was on were wrong for her. He prescribed new medications, but a couple weeks later she ended up in the hospital manic. The nearest hospital didnt have a bed so she was transferred across town. I won't get into why butt his two weeks in the psych ward were the worst her life. It probably could have been avoided if we met dr. wexler just a few months earlier (BTW: be careful of the meters at his office, tockets in SM get REALLY expensive)
