Dr. Eric C Wu, MD

Dr. Wu is a great practitioner who has attended to numerous eye issues that I have had. He does explain conditions professionally and always gives his patients time to ask questions. My children are also patients of Dr. Wu’s. He will always have your best interest at heart.

Woke up on Saturday with a HUGE bunch of floaters in my left eye. Called the hospital, and asked if it would be worth going IN there since what I really needed was an opthamologist. I was told they HAVE an opthamologist on call, and that she would call him and have him call me. Well Dr Wu DID call - not even ten minutes later. Asked me questions, and determined I was not having an emergency - but also told me HE would call ME first thing Sunday morning. Sure enough, 7:45 Sunday morning he DID call - determined it was still not an emergency - but said he'd like to see me in the office on Monday. I called at 8:00 Monday morning and they had me come in at 8:50 to have Dr Wu LOOK in my eye - and determined the problem - that will clear itself eventually. I just can't BELIEVE how Dr Wu was so caring - to call me TWICE - and to make sure I got IN to the office that quickly.

This review is for his technician I’ve been a patient of Dr. Jeffreys and Dr Wu for about 45 years and just once I got my eyes checked at LensCrafters and told the tech I believe the bifocals too strong and would like eyes rechecked. Said I should go back to Lens Crafters and I could only come for a medical exam. It’s not that I’m opposed to the medical exam but I would like to get my glasses straightened out as soon as possible and she said that it would only be up to Dr Wu since I had just had them checked about a month and a half ago at LensCrafters whether they would do it or not. Dr. Wu is very professional and very caring towards his patients. Staff is also very excellent.

Tried to make an appointment for my 5 year old daughter and was told he does not do routine eye exams because he is an MD!!!!!!!!! Where am I supposed to go for an exam for a child?????????????? Give me a break.
