Dr. Eric Louis Zager, MD

Dr. Zager operated on me in May 2014 for TOS. I informed Dr. Zager office that I had a paralyzed diaphragm which was a result of the surgery. He never told me that this was a possiblity. After they found out I was injured he refused to see me or refer me to any doctors who could help me. Fast forward to today, I have had three surgeries to try to repair the damaged he caused. I am scheduled for another lung surgery on Nov. 12 to put in a diaphragm pacing system to help me breathe on my own. My left lung is severely damaged due to his negligence. The bottom portion of my left lung is completely and permanently collapsed. Do not let him tell you that lie about only having to give another patient an inhaler. I have had to get a phrenic nerve transplant because of this man, have been on oxygen twice, and had multiple surgeries to repair his mistake. I would not recommend him at all because I feel that he is in it for the money and not to actually help people. I have been trying to sue him,… but be ause of the severity of my health issues caused by him that took precedence over the statue of limitations. I am now disabled due to his mistake, and I am only 37. I had to give up my career of helping brain injured individuals because of him. I felt that it was my duty to inform people because I do not want him to hurt someone else.

Dr Zager removed a baseball sized brain tumor from my mom. She remained in the hospital for over 2 months. He checked on her almost every day. He was caring and compassionate towards all of us. My mom just passed 9 months later but we are so grateful for everything he did for us and for her. He is a wonderful doctor and man.

Can't begin to tell you how much I liked Dr. Zager. He operated on me 7 years ago and I still remember how kind and caring he was.

Called him for 2nd opinion regarding Rib-resection surgery my Vascular surgeon was going to perform. Zager refused to see me until I had a new MRI and X-Ray taken, which Zager would NOT order. TERRIBLE!! Does he even CARE?!?! Filled out even though I never saw him because HE refused to see me.

dr. zager performed 4 spinal surgery for different problems over a ten year period. he has helped me greatly. I no longer have the immobility, pain or numbness. I tell my friends he has the 'HANDS OF GOD'. I have referred several of my friends.

he saved my life by removing an avm from my brain,i wouldn't have anyone eles perform my brain surgery,hes the best it takes someone really special to be able to do what he did for me.because of him im able to be here...

Dr. Zager provided excellent medical care for my daughter. He is a very caring doctor who works hard at doing what is best for his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Zager.
