Dr Barringer was very thorough

I’ve been seeing Dr. Barringer for a number of years and she is very thorough and checks all the boxes when it comes to my over all health issues! In a scale of 1-10 I give her a 10+

Someone else hit it on the nose- she’s a computer person, very little eye contact, seems to have a problem explaining things such as why HIMG isn’t giving a certain pneumonia vaccination when asked. She seems to manage getting lab work but her office really messed me up with my home-delivery meds by not refilling the prescription 3 times requiring me several phone calls to meds provider, several visits to clinic, me having to pay out of pocket twice for my expensive heart med that aren’t supposed to be suddenly stopped and finally on the last trip into clinic to try to straighten things out, informed me that I had to have an appt for them to re-prescribe the med and then saying they’d left me phone messages when I never received them. To top this off, at that last clinic visit I asked to change to see her nurse practitioner (who i’d seen several times before) and was refused. I made an appt to see Barringer to get things back on track and to ask her if I could in the future just see… her practitioner. A few days later I receive a certified letter stating I could no longer be seen in any of the HIMG family clinics because of inappropriate behavior! I never even raised my voice!!! and I never even saw Barringer but only the office staff. The letter said they would cover me for the next 30 days and my appt fell before the 30 days were up so I figured, again, I’d ask her face to face what the problem was- me asking to see her practitioner or me trying to get my required meds. A couple days prior to my appt I called the clinic to verify the time and was told they’d cancelled my appt r/t the certified letter. They never bothered to let me know they’d cancelled my appt. I asked the receptionist I talked to to give a message to a man (who she said authorized the letter)- evidently he was manager over the clinics- that i’d like to have an appt with him to discuss the letter etc. & she promised she’d have him call me. He never did. I worked in the health field for 40 years and am shocked by the way I’ve been treated. Not only is this very unprofessional , it borders on abuse in my opinion.
