Dr. Erica Elizabeth Marsh, MD

I was really disappointed in my experience with Dr. Marsh. She has very limited time to be serving people in this arena. Her office hours are limited to four hours on one weekday afternoon, and getting one of those appointments can take months. If you miss one of her calls, your screwed because trying to get her again can take weeks. I have been waiting for 2 months to schedule an appointment for followup after a year of failed IUI/IVF treatment. I also feel like I was pressed into treatment I didn't need to pursue because not all the facts about women in my age group pursuing this type of treatment was presented to me. Dr. Marsh's idea of meeting with you is to pawn you off on a fellow or resident and come for the last 5 minutes of the discussion. Her bedside manner is odd too--rather indignant and sometimes seeming frustrated with the questions you ask. I had a lot of troubles between the IVF nurses' prescriptions, my insurance, and the mail order pharmacy my insurance requires I… use. There was lots of miscommunication between all of them that resulted in some very stressful periods coming right up to the start of a cycle when I didn't have everything I needed to start the injections. NMFF takes too many patients. It is a cattle farm in that waiting room. The practice cannot fashion an individual treatment protocol for you because the practitioners don't have the time or interest in helping couples individually. I would NOT recommend NMFF to anyone seeking Reproductive Endocrinology care.
