The absolute worst Doctor I have ever seen. Rude, unprepared and so arrogant! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Terrible practice!

First time patient cant go in to see dr because of the virus goin around so had an appointment for a video consultation dr never sent text day n time of appointment set another appointment sent me text with a link no answer called to make new appointment dr never text me sorry excuse for a medical professional

Desk staff is rude and unwelcoming while the dr herself is a cold robot who cares nothing of her patients whom she treats as an inconvenience.

Terrible doctor, would not refer me for conditions I was having. She diagnosed my skin condition wrong. I begged her for a dermatologist referral over and over . She told me it was dermatitis and I had to figure out want I was using to cause it. Long story short I moved and got another doctor who did refer me to a dermatologist . I do have dermatitis but caused by a bacterial infections!! Two years of struggling with terrible looking skin just so she didn't have to refer me out. She must get a bonus from the insurance company for that. And because my condition was untreated for so long I have to be on antibiotics long term up to 6 months.

Every time I call the office, the front desk girls are friendly & try to get me in asap. Dr. Ruiz is wonderful. Her recommendations have cured a problem other Drs. couldn't. Highly recommend!

Basically dont care about my health, i have been trying to see her for 6 months i arrived 5 min early for them to say i need to be there 15 min early since im new. Then i sated im not new and all my info was the same she still wouldn't see me. I went to a hospital asked for a follow up and she said no. Mind u i have oviran cys big ones. Then i said well my appointment that i have in 5 days ill be on my period and cant be seen down there she said i can wait till aug then. Mind u my first attempt to get a appointment was in FEB. When i was denied for being 5 min early i was crying and in pain.

Cold bed side manner. Arrogant, rude and demeaning to her patients. I nearly died of cancer waiting for this doctor to get the diagnosis! I wish I had read the reviews before I went to this mean woman's office. Horrible Doctor!

Terrible staff. Totally incompetent and unprofessional. Absolutely impossible to get a return telephone call. Dr Erika Ruiz is a good physician but I would not recommend or refer her because of her staff. I myself I'm looking for another physician.

It is my opinion that Dr. Ruiz feels she is above the standard of the Affordable Care Act and believes that she can afford to dismiss her patients. She makes rapid diagnosis's with little information and practically called me a liar when I told her I don't drink alcohol. I WAS FIRED AS A PATIENT FOR BEING IN PAIN INCOMPETENT STAFF. UPDATE ON MY PREVIOUS REVIEW: Since my previous BAD DOCTOR review of Dr. Erica Ruiz I have had two surgeries performed. One to repair a prolapsed bladder (diagnosed by Erica) and one to remove my left ovary and a golf ball sized ovarian cyst. Though Dr. Ruiz is not a gynecologist my insurance would not allow me to see a specialist without her referral. Dr. Ruiz performed my "Well Woman Check" (as my former HMO required) and when my results returned a"normal" she looked no further than to call me fat and tell me to join a boot camp when my low back pain and heavy menstrual bleeding symptoms persisted. Because my insurance only allows one Well… Woman Check a year I required a referral to a specialist. Dr. Ruiz refused my request for a referral leaving me in HMO limbo before she fired me as a patient. After crawling on the floor in excruciating pain for two years I am finally well. No thanks to Dr.Erica. I can respect that the Affordable Care Act has created added stresses to every doctors office. I can respect that sometimes doctors simply miss the diagnoses, they are human. I cannot respect being fired as a patient because the doctor did not like the tone of my voice while I was in agony. SYMPTOMS: Severe Low Back Pain Extremely Heavy Menstrual Flow Exhaustion Bloating Pain During Sex Inability to Lose Weight Constant Heartburn Nausea DIAGNOSIS: Fat Depressed Lazy PRESCRIPTION: Birth control Pills Antidepressants After telling Dr. Ruiz that her birth control prescription had me bleeding even worse that I was before she rolled her eyes and told me "stick it out it will get better." After telling Dr. Ruiz I had made two trips to the ER for my low back pain she finally, after two former visits, ordered an MRI on my spine. When my results for the MRI showed only a minor bulge in my low lumbar spine Dr. Ruiz told me that she could perform an MRI on a "stadium full of people" and find the same results of a bulging disc and "those people wouldn't complain about pain." My back pain was not related to my spine, it was directly related to my ovarian cyst, a diagnosis that could have been made if I had been given the referral I requested. Instead I was fired as a patient because the doctor didn't like the tone of my voice when I was in agony requesting a prescription refill that took six days to have ordered by her and her office staff. The office of Dr. Erica Ruiz is run by an incompetent staff that lies to their superiors to cover for their mistakes. Dr. Erica herself is very cold and unsympathetic in her bedside manner. Save yourself the headache and find a better doctor.
