Dr. Erica Joyce Simon, MD

Dr Simon did not care to learn about me or my concerns. She already had her opinion and was very dismissive towards me. She put words in my mouth and lied in her aftercare notes about our conversation. Today I learned my procedure was cancelled by her even after I asked her to keep it booked. I will now have to wait even longer to get another one scheduled. It doesn’t seem like this doctor likes what she does anymore. I feel like doctors should care about and help their patients and she did the opposite of that.

Go home and apply joint cream to my groin I had post menopausal bleeding. On a sonagram a fibroid was seen. It was not a fibroid but a tumor. After many delays I managed to go to output surgery in Oakland where I was dx with stage 3 endometrial cancer. I would never recommend her or her colleagues.

My concerns were not addressed and she was quite dismissive. She did not even want to take a look at the area, just said the other Dr did a thorough job. She was not very empathetic, short, and just wanted me out of there. A second opinion is supposed to be independent. Total time with her was about 5-10mins max.

I regret visiting Dr Simon because she did a very poor job of diagnosing and assessing the complications I have been having with my copper IUD. She actually made me feel stupid for needing an appointment, assuring me that I was overreacting and my pain was normal. Will never see this dr or recommend her to anyone I know, don't see her unless you have a clear cut issue that takes little assessment.

Dr. Simon was excellent in diagnosing my problem and recomending treatment. I like her conservative approach to handling patient problems.

Worst experience in 50+years with a doctor in this field doing a pap smear. And the doctor NEVER examined my breasts.I bled for two days after my pap smear and never felt such pain from an office pap smear in my life. She was totally unfeeling and not in the least sympathtic.
