Dr. Erica Woyce

Erica Woyce is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 9 years of experience working with clients of all different ages, most recently with young adults and adults. She focuses on treating those who are suffering from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, family issues, anger, life transitional difficulties, grief, school and work issues, stress, low self-esteem, and more. Erica can help clients to manage difficult emotions, improve communication in relationships, stabilize their mood, and learn to challenge negative thinking patterns. Erica earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kean University. During sessions, she assists clients in developing coping strategies using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Erica help clients utilize strategies to challenge negative thoughts, regulate emotions, tolerate distress, and improve relationships. She also helps clients practice mindfulness, …grounding, and breathing exercises in sessions. If clients enjoy art, Erica can guide them through activities that allow for the creative expression of emotions and relaxation. Erica is enthusiastic about helping clients to gain self-awareness and the tools they need to cope effectively with any struggles that they experience. She creates a safe space in which a client can feel comfortable to make the session their own and focus on their goals.
