Dr. Erich William Wolf, MD

The staff and doctors could not have been more professional and helpful. They took time to treat me with care and took the time to explain things in terms so I could understand what was happening to me and my body. Very punctual and friendly. I left feeling that they care about my health & well being not just a number on a page. I recommend them highly.

My family & I will be forever grateful for Dr. Erich Wolf and his whole amazing staff including NP, Tara Barnes. After 2 major neurosurgeries in less than a year, I was released today totally healed. In December, I had an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. Then in February, I suffered a TIA and a subdural hematoma that resulted in my second surgery. Dr. Wolf was there for me and my family the whole way. He is a gifted and extremely knowledgeable surgeon who is also very compassionate and reassuring. He and his team are truly amazing, and I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

He doesn’t care about his patients! His nurse Kasie Nix is very rude. Go to Houston for best surgeons.

I recently had L5S1 t lift surgery performed by Dr Wolf. From the beginning Dr wolf and the office personnel were great. Preparing me for what was to come. Answered all my questions. Was able to call if I had a question and talk to either Dr wolf or Casey the NP. On day of surgery Dr wolf came in to see me before surgery. We were cracking jokes. Made me relaxed. After years of scar tissue squeezing the nerve and disc issues, I can finally say I have no pain down my leg. I'm 3 months post op and am on my way to getting back to normal. When your Dr calls to check on you at home after surgery, you know you have a good one.

Had to schedule two office visits to see Dr. Wolf. The first visit had to see Nurse Practitioner. On the second visit he did not take the time to go over my MRI with me. Told me i needed surgery to fix my pain and was hurrying out the room. I was in some terrible pain from herniated disks, spinal stenosis, bone spurs. They scheduled surgery for me & i didnt even know what procedures he was going to perform on me. Well, i kept postponing surgery due to another health related issue. Then i bought a Saunders cervical home traction device & after 2 weeks i was improving, then i started Physical Therapy. Two months after the visit, i' m about 90% free from pain & returning to normal duties. Continuing to do physical therapy and using the Home traction device 3 times a day. He did not want to try Epidural injection or physical Therapy. It's obvious he just wants to cut on you.

I had been having back and leg pain for a long time. I had gone to other Doctors and ended up leaving without any real help. After making an appt., visiting with the office staff and his Physician's Assistant, I knew I had finally found a place where I would get some help. After all the test, approvals, etc., I was scheduled for surgery. I literally had tears flowing down my face. I was relieved to find someone who cared enough to listen and didn't just railroad me through. I've now had surgery and a large portion of the pain has dissipated because of the surgery. I'm taking some time off and letting the incision and surgery area heal up. Dr. Wolfe is a caring and laid back person with an awesome list of specialty surgeries that he performs. I have been impressed from the beginning thru the present time. I even took the time to talk to Dr. Wolfe in front of his PA and bragged on her for a few minutes. Excellent and Knowledgeable staff... Highly Recommended...

I had a DLIF fusion surgery in 2015. Dr. Wolf and his staff was amazing. He gave me specific instructions during my recovery. I followed his instructions to the T. Before the surgery, my pain level from 1-10 was a 20. Since the surgery I'm at a 1. I would recommend Dr. Wolf to everyone. We're so blessed to have such a wonderful specialist in the Lake Charles area.

The office staff is rude. Especially the office manager. I hope you don't run into any problems. Dr Wolf did a good job on my neck surgery. I had to remind him that he was going to do ulnar surgery on my elbow right before surgery, oops he forgot about that.

I was really impressed with the staff, I haven't seen the doctor yet, however the nurse practitiner was very couteous and took the time to explain my MRI which my prior doctor never did.
