Dr. Erich J Zeitz, MD

I was sent to the ER Nov 1, 2021 from urgent care for a blood clot and was seen by Dr Zeitz. He spent most of his visit persuading me to get a covid vaccine. I told him numerous times that my concern immediately is the blood clot that I was sent to ED for treatment. Also, some of the vaccines produce blood clots as a side effect. He continued to push his agenda as if he was going to benefit in some way to have me get it. I told him that I would definitely give it consideration but, I would not take it since I currently have a clot. He finally said that he would give me a through exam. He placed his stethoscope over my 3 layers of clothing (shirt, sweatshirt with hood and a schawl) he also felt my legs over my jeans and did not even view my swollen leg. He gave me no instruction or precautions as to when I would need to come back to the emergency room. The urgent care Dr that sent me there was very concerned and said they might keep me over night because the clot could break up and go… to my lungs or heart. I was in the ER for 4 hours waiting for a Dr and ended up seeing this incompetent, own addenda individual. This type of medical care is worrisome and concerning. I did not get proper treatment, exam, information or instruction. Very poor medical care by Dr Zeitz!

My e.r. visit was poor overall. Dr. Zeitz was very condesending and rude. I went in b/c I have a large size lump on my lymph node/neck gland. He left the room w/out much explanation of the diagnosis and recommendations--only to return ( after I called a nurse) to ask me if I needed him to repeat himself if I didn't understand him correctly. It was a horrible experience and it brought me to tears.
