I have never in my life been treated so poorly by anyone let alone a Dr. I had an appointment yesterday for my son that has Down Syndrome and server sleep apnea. My son will not wear his mask. I work with him on it everyday. He just will not keep it on. When I took my son back to see Dr Viorritto he was clearly very very upset with me. He acted down right angry...I was thrown back immediately at his tone with me. His discuss look at me. Like I was the worse mother in the world. After all it was almost exactly 2 years from my last appointment and to him that was unacceptable. I get it yes I should have come in sooner however you have no idea what my life is like. How dare you judge me or treat me the way you did! In those two years I had cancer and went through a divorce. Yet still working on my son wearing his CPAP knowing it will likely take a few years to get him to finally except this and actually wear it longer than 10 min. I just broke down and cried. I couldn't stop. I am not a… person that cries often or overreacts to things. I have pretty thick skin. I felt judged from the moment I wanted in. I will NEVER see this Dr. again!!!
