Dr. Ericka Ann Singer, MD

This is the absolute worst doctor I have ever met in my entire 69 years of life. My husband was in the hospital ER taken to ICU for couple days then moved to a room They just got him settled and served Lunch. She walks in the room; sit beside him while he is sitting in a recliner with other people all in the room. He took one bite of food just got lunch which was cold by then. Looked like a circus she was putting on. A bunch people came in the room with her. She blurted out to him I be straight you’re going to die maybe 4 mo maybe 6. I asked about rehab- her comment was why should I; it won’t do him any good he is going to die. Every time I asked how she could help him she said the same thing, she refused to help him. When she said told him he was dying his heart flipped into Afib from the way she said it and the shock of her attitude about not helping him to live, he was rushed back to ICU. That is why she brought in her 3- ring circus. Well, he is still alive; all his… other doctors were appalled at what she told him. She is not a specialist of any kind in Pulmonary Issues. She even looked at his Xray waved her hand and said I don’t know what all this is. Well, it was double pneumonia and a really serious bacterium that causes it. She did not treat him for anything. It was 2 weeks after he got home his doctor said have him come in to the lab and tested him. He wasn’t getting better he was getting worst because he had a doctor in the ICU dept that has no clue about medicine and how to treat someone. Dr Singer works in the ICU dept, critical care. Even the ambulance driver tried to get me to take him to a different hospital that was in their jurisdiction to travel. That hospital does not know how to treat Pulmonary issues either. The Ambulance driver told me they hear horror stories coming out of that hospital. When he got in ER that doctor asked me if I wanted to end his life and remove all devices and let him basically die. I felt like I was in a movie living a nightmare for 8 days . I know why she waited to get him out of ICU to tell him that what she calls impact news of death. There are cameras above the beds and his actual pulmonary doctor who knows him was the one monitoring the cameras.; keeping an eye on him. He was not aware she told him all this. Even his heart doctor could not believe. One doctor told me she had been kicked out of ER dept and was shocked she was now in ICU dept. We had about 5 doctors express their concern for what she told him they were shocked, disgusted, and told us that was immoral and in a life-threatening situation she was obligated to treat him.
