I went to visit dr altman. He basically did not care about what I have to ask about my condition. I have a heart condition and had few questions regarding pace maker and ILR device. He was not interested to answer my questions. He then sends a PA to answer my questions and concern about my well being. If PA was/is more qualified than him, i would have him see me instead of dr Altman. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. He does not care about his patients health/well being. His PA tells me “he is busy and doesn’t have time to answer your explain to you about different type of pacemaker or ILR Device

Dr. Erik Altman performed a Watchman procedure and cardiac ablation on me this month. Now I no longer have atrial fibrillation! Dr. Altman took the time to explain things in great detail prior to my hospitalization, and he put my fears to rest. He truly has hands of gold.

Dr. Altman had performed 2 ablations on me about 4 years ago or so. I was diagnosed SVT and the area of the heart where my difficulties lied was at the A/V node. A very difficult area in which to work. Dr. Altman was extremely diligent in his work in resolving my high heart rate. He could have easily installed a pace maker and been done with it. He worked extremely hard to eliminate that possibility, and succeeded! The most amazing thing he had said to me is that he wanted everything to work the way God intended it to be. Simply profound! Amazingly professional. I’m forever appreciative. Thanks Doc!!!!

He was ok. Not very informative, was about to leave exam room when I called him back with some questions. He billed insurance $875.00 for a supposed 45 minute visit, I will not go back to him.

Dr. Altman is very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He is prompt and very patient with his patients. He performed EP Study for me and healed my heart. I will definitely recommend him to friends
