He is an egotist and not at all helpful. In fact, I was in pain the following day due to the inexperience of the person performing the xrays. The people at Stamford Health are rude and do not care about patients at all. The office is more like a clinic in the slums of NYC and the doctor belongs there.

If I had relied solely on this doctor's recommendations, I would likely be paralyzed by now. With symptoms for many months & my PCP referred me to Dr. Beger due to one elevated result in my blood work. By the time of my appointment, I was in such distress that I was very emotional so I think he saw an older, emotional woman and decided I was basically a "hysteric". He was focusing only on the pain caused by the Carpal Tunnel Iâ??d know I had and as I have lived with that pain for so long I knew CT wasn't causing my symptoms. Dr. Beger refused to listen to me. When I finally could not stand the pain at all any longer, I called my Neurosurgeon who easily diagnosed on the phone; MRI results confirmed his thinking. The Neurosurgeon said my situation was so serious, I couldnâ??t wait longer than 2 wks. for a spinal cervical fusion surgery because paralysis was likely if I waited longer. Listen to your body and don't believe that a doctor even with the great credentials Dr. Beger… has, necessarily knows everything! I would NEVER go back to him.

This doctor did not actually listen to my complaints & focused on one thing that I said which was pretty much incidental. When I followed up with another MD because my pain was so constant and so painful, it turned out that had I waited even 2-3 weeks, I would likely have some paralysis. No allowance was made for anything I said to him. I would not go back to him.
