Dr. Erik Borncamp, MD

When I arrived at Silver Cross via ambulance, I needed immediate surgery. I had never met Dr. Borncamp but he made me feel safe even though I was very scared. I recommend him to anyone who needs surgery.

I’m a CPA who represents quite a few GPs, orthopods and cardio-thoracic surgeons, plus quite a few dentists and opthomologists. And around 50 RNs in ed and surgi centers. I met Dr Borncamp (not a client), because I need emergency surgery to remove my gall bladder. (Cholecystectomy). This guy is tops. He does have a dry sense of humor, so I enjoyed his bedside manor.

Dr Borncamp Exceeded my expectations. His kind and caring nature meant a lot to me. He was extremely informative and explain things in a manner that I could easily understand. He gave me all the time I needed and did not rush me. He listened And gave me the appropriate answer.I was fearful going into surgery and he made the entire experience as positive as could be. I would recommend this doctor to anybody.

Made fun of one of my conditions, and when I politely asked him to stop he went into the hallway to make fun of me to the nurses. I had to hear it from my father, as he was in the hallway. My dad gave him a dirty look and that made him stop. Very unprofessional. He did do good work on my surgery, and I recovered well from that. I'm just so disappoint he had no respect for me.

Dr Borncamp is the best surgeon. His bedside manner is excellent. I first met him when I was admitted to the hospital through the ER. And then when I needed surgery 3 months later, though another surgeon was recommended, I reached out to Dr Borncamp and was not disappointed. He truly cares about his patients. He listens to your concerns and explains things in a manner in which you understand. He is not an open you/close you type surgeon that sends you on your way after the "normal" post-surgery visit. He has continued to see me over the past year to make sure that the cancer has not returned. He has ordered tests, made sure that I was doing the needed follow-up visits with my other physicians, etc. The care that he has provided over the past year is care that I would have thought my primary care physician would provide. I would highly recommend Dr. Borncamp.

Dr. Erik Borncamp is a great Surgeon I was able to be awake for my procedure, the way he talked to his assistants in the operating room put me at ease. You could tell they thought he was a great doctor by the way he treated them. He talked with me and kept me aware of each thing he was doing during the surgery, and he made me smile many times as he talked to all of us in the room. You can bet I will have him do anything I need in the future!

Dr Borncamp took the time to completely explain all of my options for removing a fatty tumor that has been an issue for 10 yrs. He listened to me, he clearly explained his suggestions and we formulated a plan together. He is a very personable physician and easy to talk to.

Dr. Borncamp takes the time to explain things. He has a great bedside manner. He allows me to ask questions and makes sure I understand what is going on.

I was Blessed to have had the privelage to have Dr.Borncamp become involved in my case. I truly feel comfortable asking any question smart or otherwise. Not only is his bed side manner beyond excellent, but with any procedure he does you feel & know your in GREAT hands. And is more than thorough with his explanations of what he is going to do, what COULD happen and what he is GOING to do. I've been through 10 years of surgeries and I KNOW a good surgeon and a not so good one. Ill leave it at this... There is NO OTHER doctor I'd want in a life or death situation than Dr. Borncamp.
