Dr. Erik Jon Kanten, MD

I had only heard good things about Dr.Kanten. When I was pregnant I needed to switch doctors (as mine had retired). He always explained things very well, was patient, and helpful. I was so impressed that after my child was not and we were discharged, he made sure to call us over the weekend to see how I wa doing and how baby was. Many times I have had nurses call me, but not usually the doctor (especially on a holiday weekend like it was!)

One of the best doctors around. Will always refer you to a specialist if he feels that is the best course of action. He is so kind, compassionate and caring taking time to listen to concerns.

I switched doctors after my first daughter was born. I felt like my first doctor would have to ask me the same questions every time I was in, like she would forget who I was. Dr. Kanten remembers not only me, but my family as well. He actually cares about you and how you feel about your care. He always asks if you have any questions also. He is very thorough and never makes you feel rushed! A+Only negative: the admitting staff almost 'forgets' that you're standing in front of them and can hear everything they say. They could take a lesson in customer service!

Dr. Kanten is the best doctor I've ever been to. Came in on his day off to sit with me and my husband in the ER when I miscarried. Spent extra time with us that day and followed up through the next few weeks. Was always available when I had questions. Very kind and compassionate. Highly recommended!! :)
