Went out of his way to make insulting comments and seemed confused about what standard warnings were regarding care.

When I asked why I wasn’t getting an MRI after he ruled out that my shoulder was not dislocated and it wasn’t broken he said because it wasn’t an emergency and that the last time he ordered an MRI it was for someone that had brain cancer. So good thing I didn’t have brain cancer… I guess that’s the only way to actually get a diagnosis at this hospital with this doctor. also sprained the top of my foot… so he decided that he should send me home with an Aircast that does not support the area that was sprained in anyway shape or form. His bedside manner is more than terrible. LGH should it be very angry that someone like him represents them. I’ll be happy to never have to go there again

I had my knee drained earlier at ortho urgent care because it swelled up to about the size of a small watermelon in about a day. I got results from the synovial fluid indicating I have an infection in my knee due to initial lab results on LGHealth account; WBC 21000+. Initially a PA came in to assess my knee, but she didn't know what to think, so she got Dr. Kettles. He was professional, consulted ortho, and started me on abx which was what I wanted rather than let the infection continue 2 more days until I can see my PCP on Monday. He also did a CBC to make sure I didn't have an elevated blood WBC count/sepsis. I felt comfortable with him and being a former ER-RN for four years felt like he made correct decisions and assessments. Also said it's most likely Lyme disease, which I agreed with.

Have nothing to complain about. I had a very good visit I needed stitches on my lip that was about an inch and half deep and about 2 inches across Dr. Ketels was very professional let me know what to expect. As far as pain is concerned. He was very gentle. I had to ask my wife if he was a plastic surgeon his work was so good. I am currently healing and don't think another Dr. could have done a better job than Dr. Ketels. A job well done!!!

Went to Lancaster General. Have a lifetime history of asthma. Breathing was uncontrollable and I was barely able to walk. Chest X-ray came back normal. The good doctor proceeded to tell me that he could find nothing wrong with me, according to the tests, and proceeded to ask me what I believed was wrong with myself. My breathing was so labored, I had to use my entire body to make my lungs work, and the best was shaking. And here is this arrogant doctor telling me nothing is wrong and asking me to diagnose myself. He finally diagnosed me with pneumonia and diacharged me with antibiotics and an rx for an emergency inhaler I already had and that I was not responding to. It is 3 days later. I still have no control of my breathing, am in absolute pain, and cannot even walk to the kitchen without becoming severely out of breath. If anything happens to me stemming from this illness, please sue this man.

Saw in ER was extremely rude condescending and unprofessional and seemed to feel seeing me was beneath him.
