Dr. Erik Peter Kohler, MD

This is my 3rd attempt to write a review I don't understand how to work all this so if it's repetitive any other to show up forgive me I'm at dr. Kohler 20 years ago here in Washington state after seeing literally 5060 Dr prior to him who kept telling me there was nothing they could do for me and kept giving me Kohls and injections when they clearly had an MRI that explained everything that was going on I was treated like it was all in my head dr. Kohler from the very first moment I met and was visibly furious with the way I've been treated and he spoke to me about the lack of proper treatment that I had received he made it his mission to fix me and for the first time after the back injury I felt like I stood a chance of living a normal life he was the most amazing caring doctor I have ever met and probably will ever meet my only regret is that Washington state has a ridiculously high malpractice insurance rate they make it more political then it should be he moved out of state because… our state drove him out ridiculous I want to thank you for the 19 years able to function and be somewhat normal if it wasn't for you I don't know where I would be I wish that I could move to your location so that I could see you again get the help that unfortunately I only need we cannot receive Franken spine at this point too much has been done and I can't get the help I need for to you people that have him in your state and your location realize you have the most compassionate wonderful kind and caring doctor anybody could ever hope for it in the most capable of all cherish this man he is big Gift Giver if ever you moved back to this state Dr Kohler make an announcement so that everybody who had you as your doctor knows your back I don't know if you remember me I was young with four children and very tall my name is Kristine Cox I'm the one that got a tattoo over the fusion scar and you were really happy with it thank you for the life you give back to me dr. Kohler you have a special place in heaven

Medicine is like building a 'hot rod' car. My 'car' was really messed up, and Doctor Kohler worked a miracle considering how bad I was. 13 years later, and his work is holding up good! Surgery is always a calculated risk, that we must except the results from. My money is on Eric Kohler! (Thank You)

Dr Kohler's surgery to fuse my spine left me with neuopathy and unable to walk.

What was the most horrible experience of my life was waking up after surgery performed by Dr Erik Kohler. I could not walk. I could not recognize myself. My legs that were firm and I could walk prior to surgery by Dr Kohler. 10 1/2 hours later my legs were like jelly and I could not walk. My feet were like fire and then cold like an iceburg. The pain was unbearable. I wanted to die. I'm not the only one who ended up like this. James did too. He went under Kohler's knife for back surgery and woke up unable to use his arm. This man who goes by the name of Dr Kohler is a monster! I heard he was out of the state of Alaska. I cant believe he is still here. He is a monster! Do not go Under this man's knife! He mutilates and handicaps people. He is a BAD BAD BAD Dr. He is a MONSTER!

Check how many of his patients have sued him for malpractice. He is a disaster in the operating room. Normal 6 hr procedures takes Kohler 11 hours--REALLY!!!He did surgery on my BFF and paralized her for life.

As a result of an "accident" during surgery, I now have neuropathy in my feet and legs.

I tell myself, I can still walk. This too will pass. Life is pain. Beware of doctor Kholer. Please reconsider, and get a second opinion if he recommends surgery. You never know how your going to wake up.

I haven't seen this doctor in Alaska, but he was my surgeon in WA before he moved. I can't say enough good about him and hope to move to Alaska to continue my care. he is awesome!

He takes the time for EVERYONE!He care's about EVERYONE he see's.He WILL fine the problem and get it taken care of.He is the BEST!Anything to do with the Back / neck you have to see him!
