Dr. Erik George Polan, DO

Tried calling Dr. Polan’s office three days in a row to get clarification on some discharge orders fir my 89 yo mom. On the third day, I finally got a staff member who said they had tried calling me but my mail box was full. That was a lie and I told her so. She then said that in order to get an explanation of the discharge orders, I had to make an in-person appointment. This seems like padding the bill and a total disregard for the patient’s well being to risk my mom taking the medications incorrectly while waiting for an appointment. Find another internist if you want sane service.

I seen Dr Polan twice in the last 3 months and both times, I left they feeling like a new person. He was amazing! First, his staff was wonderful and held a great conversation with me. He had about 3 patients ahead of me, so I did have to wait to go back but the time flew by with the Television in the waiting area. That is a plus, especially when you're a busy doctor. Then I met with the resident doctor and he was just as amazing as Dr. Polan. Once Dr. Polan did come in to see me it was like I have been seeing him for years. He knew everything about me and he only seen me twice. I will definitely keep him as my doctor.

Dr Polan has the best bedside manner! Truly cares for his patients.

My experience with Dr. Polan was nothing short of excellent. I felt very comfortable with him and I knew that he would provide the best care possible. I would recommend Dr. Polan to anyone looking for someone who they can trust in. I was also very impressed that Dr. Polan treated me like an individual and not just another patient. Two thumbs up!
