He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with the United States Air Force, becoming proficient in advanced dental techniques and certified in IV Conscious Sedation. Joining Virginia Family Dentistry at the Mechanicsville location in 1994, he now focuses on developing the New Kent-Quinton location. Committed to continuing education, Dr. Roper has over 1500 hours of advanced training, earning his Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Richmond Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Pierre Fauchard Academy, and has served at the Hanover Interfaith Free Dental Clinic since its inception in 2009.
