Dr. Erik David Sloan, MD

Had the 'opportunity' to go to the CDH Emergency room last week and have to say that they are top notch. The speed with which you were processed in and time waiting was great.... but have to say Dr Erik Sloan was top notch.. Very thorough and personable and answered all your questions even though the ER had two major traumas on going at the same time we were there. I've been to two other ERs in the northwest suburbs in the past 15 years and I have to say CDH far exceeds what I experienced at ABMC and NCH. Thank you Dr Sloan for your knowledge and dedication to the medical profession.

Dr Sloan was very attentive and asked probing questions. I went in scared and in pain. Came out reassured and knowing that I would feel better soon.

This Emergency room Doctor. Dr. Sloan at CDH in Winfiled was extremely rude. When he finally saw me after having to ask to see a Doctor he was extremely arrogant. I even heard him laugh with his physician assistant outside the door after leaving my room. He said , I read your test results, but I'm just an ER doctor so what do I know" he basically made me feel like my complaint and pain was nothing. He was So unprofessional.

What an outstanding physician. Dr Sloan was patient, caring and knowledgeable.

Dr Sloan was by far the worst doctor I have ever experienced. He was rude, did not follow up after several requests to speak to him while waiting in the ER for 5 hours, he left without transferring my father to another on duty physician, and would not provide a diagnosis/treatment/recommendation. He is a poor example of a doctor and CDH should be ashamed to employ such staff. I will make sure the word is spread about Dr. Sloan.
