Dr. Erik Vineyard Taube

I chose this dentist when Dr Parmelee was the dentist. He was wonderful and had awesome hours. I had left my previous dentist because the hours were too difficult with my work schedule. I couldn't take off work for every appointment. Since Dr Parmelee left, the hours at Taube Family Dental have been reduced. Every day but Monday has been cut back and there are no Sat options anymore. Dr Taube is nice and the dental work seems ok, though sometimes a bit less proactive than I'd like it to be. But the front desk woman is difficult to work with and often fairly rude. Dr Taube is always "we will fit you in if you have a problem" but that's if you can get the front desk person to agree. When Marilyn worked the front desk it was amazing and she was wondering. Now I dread calling with any issues. I don't like to be treated rudely. I am currently searching for a new dentist.

I have gone to this dental practice for over 25 years to Dr Randy Parmlee, but he is no longer there (moved to Swansea IL with Dr Stubblefield, which I found out by chance). My last 2 visits to Mascoutah practice I saw Dr Taube, but did not care for his chairside manner. My teeth are sensitive and he used his metal tools and tapped on each tooth; my teeth didn't hurt when I went, but did when I left. I won't be returning. Started looking for another dentist for the past 6 months.
