Dr. Erik Van Os, MD

Dr. Van Os is a great doctor. He is personable, even when dealing with not-so-fun procedures. He is calming and truly cares about his patients. He's awesome!

Dr. Van Os was so incredible. He was very friendly, helpful and interesting. Even though we only had a few minutes, I felt like he really cared. And twice he thanked me for doing what I was supposed to do to prepare for the procedure. Usually it is just assumed that you do what you are told to do.

From walking in to walking out my experience was profession, comforting, and "easy." I had contact with several different nurses, all with pleasant dispositions. My check-in experience was also done extremely well. All staff including Dr. Van Os and the anesthesiologist were very knowledgeable and comforting. This was second time around with Dr. Van Os, and he will be my third.

A couple of years ago I accompanied my wife for her colonoscopy performed by Dr. Van Os. I was so impressed with his kindness, knowledge and professionalism, I made up my mind that I would choose him for my next procedure. As planned and after my previous doc had retired, I got my chance to choose Dr. Van Os for my upper endoscopy. He and the staff are excellent in demeanor, knowledge, and friendliness. He met with me prior and after my procedure, answering all of my and my wife's questions. He took plenty of time explaining the outcome afterwards too, and then asked again if I had any more questions. Receptionist, nurses, and my anesthesiologist at Associates in Gastroenterology in Colorado Springs were superb as well I read over the one negative review given to this terrific doctor and could not believe that patient was speaking about the same person. Something is quite amiss with that review. I highly recommend Dr. Van Os for these types of procedures. You will not be… disappointed in any way. ...Randall

I arrive nervous and apprehensive but from the receptionist on I was made to feel very comfortable, my IV went very smoothly and I especially appreciate it. Friendly faces and a physician that conveyed a lot of confidence for his approach, voice and information provided. Also answered all my questions to my satisfaction.

We have been to Dr Van Os several times over the past years. We have always been very pleased with him. He is very personable and explains everything so we can understand what is going on. When he has performed procedures on us, he comes and talks to us before and afterwards to be sure we understand everything that he will be doing and afterwards, the results and what to expect. His office also calls the next day to see how we’re doing and if we have any questions. Highly recommend.

Dr. Van Os has been my doctor for a number of years. He is always professional, competent, and very kind. I trust him with my care and have referred all of my family members to him. He takes time to understand my concerns, and I can't imagine going to another gastroenterologist. He is a true gentleman.

He has taken all the time needed before and after each procedure to speak with me, and to answer any questions I have. He is a truly caring doctor.
