Dr. Erik Steven Weise, MD

If you are looking for an urologist to handle your prostate cancer diagnosis, look no further than Dr Weise and team. I was diagnosed in Feb 2019 and had robotic surgery in May 2019 to have the prostate and enough of the surrounding tissue removed to rid me of the cancer. Dr Weise and team did a flawless job. I had a bit of urinary incontinence after surgery that lasted about a month. Dr Weise was able to save enough of the nerves to enable the continuance of the joy of s.... He is in demand so some of the in office visits were a tad lengthy and a bit tardy... worth the wait. From start to finish, Dr Weise did a great job.

I have never met any doctor ever that has no compassion or care for you. When I asked questions about my cancer he was very rude and annoyed by me and my family asking questions. The wait time is horrible and then they put you in a treatment room for you to wait another hour. When asked how much longer we were treated even worse. He is very arrogant and thinks he is the only surgeon in dayton that can do robotic surgery. Well come to find out he sure isn't! Please do not see this doctor for he truly doesn't care about your well being. He should not be in health care and after many converstaions with other formal patients and staff they all say the same thing.

Save yourself the trouble and STAY AWAY!

I hope to never see him again. He's a sociopath. Tells you well I know you don't feel pain. Um excuse me, but I didn't know he had the power to know what my body is feeling. When you ask him any type of questions he literally ignores you. He had the worst attitude and made me feel extremely unsafe. He has no interest in following HIPAA. Do yourself a favor go to Columbus.

I was a patient and he did great work

Dr. Weise was very thorough in describing the procedures and likely outcomes of my prostatectomy and took as much time as my wife and I needed to have our questions answered in our first meeting. He is kind, compassionate and professional. I had virtually no pain post surgery just minor discomfort. My recovery is going very well, as he predicted. We heartily recommend Dr. Weise as a surgeon and thankful for him and his expertise.

Good surgeon but poor at communication, pain control, followup with tests such as ct scans, labs, urinalysis, etc. Not an oncologist. Intimidating. Gives you no control over your cancer.

I am thankful this doctor came into town when he did. I avoided a huge incision and had my tumor removed by robotics. However, that said, I was not even in the hospital 24 hours. They rushed me out WAY too soon and I had a great deal of pain. Only saw the doctor once after surgery and I don't think he talked to my family at all. I was assigned to someone else in his practice for follow ups. He never looked at any incisions either. You will wait HOURS in the waiting room to see him, but he really did help me out. So, long wait times, but he can help you if you can get in to him!

This so-called doctor is out for MONEY. he does not care about his patients. went with my husband, and waited 1 1/2 hrs. I asked what was going on, the replied , he was on a conference call. he was next door to us, and I heard him speed-dial 8 different people. we left. My husband went for his next visit, mind you he is driving 2 hrs to get there, put him in a room, and leave him there for another 1 1/2, he walked out and asked what was going on. they said, who are you? he told them who he was, and the doctor had allready left for the day!! they forgot about him. He did my husbands surgery, the cancer had spread. our family doctor asked my husband why he had not been to an oncologist. before the end of the day, she had him set up with an oncologist, too late.....it has taken over his bones. this doctor is an incompetent POS.

I seen this so called Dr. Waited for three hours in waiting room went back to a room sat another 30 mins he came in to only tell me nothing that i already knew as i was still asking questions he rudely walked away into another paitients room he was in my room for maybe 2 mins max to tell me nothing smh will never c this idiot again
