Loved the book, very informative and easy to share with patients. It was a good book and focuses on the main issues of healthcare.

I was able to get so much information from this book it’s unbelievable. I found out things I didn’t even know, great for someone in the medical field, and a lot of resources and ways to help out community and easy to understand the message of the writter.

I learned quite few things in regards to disability that I was not aware of, the difference between symptoms and diagnosis, patient rights, when to seek second opinions,keep asking dr questions until all your questions are answered, have your list of questions on hand so that dr wont interrupt you when he comes in and asks how may I help you, also If not seen in timely manner Speak UP.

I really enjoyed this book because it talks about resources for patients, terminology and insurance. It also includes case scenarios which were my favorite part. It is a must read if you are going into the medical field/ community health work/ social work. Thank you Dr.Balfour, I learned so much-STrin. Houston DML.

Wow! Is the first thing that comes to my mind. Dr. Erika has plainly and simply given every patient their voice back. The knowledge in this book will change every doctor-patient relationship for the better. I believe everyone should read this book for the betterment of their health and their families health.

OMG!!! This is a must read book.... It is very informational from the start once you pick it up and begin reading. It has all the tools and information you need at your fingertips of realistic scenarios and discussions that are relatable and easy to understand if you are or have been in those familiar situations and did not know what to do or where go for help and answers. It is now my new go-to-guide to many of my relatable healthcare needs and issues, terminology, how-to-do tools, relationship building with medical professionals, and plenty of useful and resourceful information to advocate for.
