I understand the nationwide crisis with opiate abuse. West Virginia seems in a hurry to give their patients very little for chronic pain. I’ve never took opioids, nor do I intend. It would be nice not to be made feel suspect when I call for refills and have no history of meds abuse or any harmful behavior with any script. I’m trying to get completely off psych meds for PTSD. These drugs have a well known withdrawal effects. All I take is the lowest amount available. The withdrawal has been rough because of the nausea and gastric issues. I called to have a script filled for a med that helps with nausea and other intestinal issues. My call was ignored, as it has been many times. When I speak with the nurse, she lets me know that Dr. Beckett decided that since she have me a 40 pill script, I was suspect of abuse. 40 pills, one month, taken 3x a day as needed. Where did I go wrong? My script should have been filled and I should not be treated like an uncooperative abuser. Seriously? I… don’t think so.

Will never go back. One visit is all it took.
