Erika Rodriguez-Botten, CCCAUD

Erika Rodriguez-Botten, AuD, CCC-A, is an audiologist at Essentia Health who cares for patients with hearing concerns across the lifespan. She provides diagnostic hearing evaluations and works with patients who use hearing aids and cochlear implants. She is dedicated to helping patients understand their hearing needs in order to identify the communication strategies and technology that best fit their individual lifestyles. Dr. Rodriguez-Botten strives to take the time to explain test results in clear, easy to understand terms and work with patients and their families to determine the best next steps. She helps patients and their families feel informed as they make decisions about hearing care. Her goal is to ensure each patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their hearing healthcare decisions. Dr. Rodriguez-Botten earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She later completed her Doctor of Audiology …training in Madison, Wisconsin. Her interest in audiology began with a curiosity about how people hear and understand sound, and it grew through her family's experience with cochlear implants. Outside of work, Dr. Rodriguez-Botten enjoys reading, spending time outdoors with her goldendoodle, and exploring coffee shops.
