Dr Bauer Is one of the best doctors I have ever had. She listens thoroughly, is great at not making me feel rushed and thoroughly hearing everything I have to say while providing expert feedback and guidance while helping me manage my condition.

This was my first visit with Dr. Bauer. Previously I'd been seeing Dr. [...], who has left VM. Dr. Bauer is an excellent replacement. I appreciated her attention to detail and learned some things that I hadn't been aware of.

Before seeing Dr. Bauer, I primarily spoke with a care provider whose name I can't recall but who, to my knowledge, is in residency. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with her. She was an excellent listener and, as someone surrounded by medical professionals and interested in the field, I appreciated how she recognized my slightly above-average familiarity with medical concepts, as well as my self-awareness regarding my own health, habits, and pain. She explained everything clearly without oversimplifying, which eased my anxiety about having to constantly explain and justify myself in relation to my chronic pain struggles. She was also the only medical staff I saw in the day who asked my preferred name and pronouns, which may be minor to some, but as a genderqueer person, meant a lot in feeling seen.When I met with Dr. Bauer, it was evident that she had relayed my personality and concerns well, which allowed me to focus on asking the questions I was most worried about. I appreciated… not having to revisit the basics of my condition, as I felt my existing knowledge was respected and made the experience far more productive and reassuring.

Dr Bauer is by far the best physician I have had the pleasure of being a patient of. She always takes time, explains things, cares and is very knowledgeable. Thank you!

Dr. Bauer is a gem! Excellent knowledge/skills with wonderful bedside manner. Really listens to the patient. Shes got the rare combination of traits most physicians seem to lack these days.
