Dr. Erin Elizabeth Ducharme, MD

Dr. Ducharme is the top dermatologist I have seen. She has helped tremendously with my son's eczema which was flaring up. I had taken him to his pediatrician numerous times for staph infected eczema. Dr. Ducharme immediately came up with an action plan and had us coming in each week to make sure that he was getting better. She followed up to make sure I felt comfortable with the plan of action. Her bedside manner is gentle and kind with her patients. She always gets on the child's eye level even if that means sitting on the floor next to them so they feel comfortable. We went today for a recheck and my son was having a tough time. She got on his level and checked him out. Always being patient and making sure that she answered all of my questions. I would recommend everyone to go see Dr. Ducharme for any dermatology needs. She is fantastic! The top doctor in her field by far.

Dr. Ducharme was great when I went in after seeing different dermatologists and doctors to help with my cystic acne. I had been through many different treatments and it was a constant cycle of creams, pills and birth controls. Dr. Ducharme listened to me and we decided the best treatment option would be accutane. She has been great through this journey and I know I can ask her anything about this treatment. She's a wonderful dermatologist, person, and is highly intelligent in her field!

Very welcoming and professional staff that accommodated my needs. Was called back to the room very very fast. Nurse made sure we covered what I wanted to see Dr. Ducharme about. Not too long after the Nurse left Dr. Ducharme was right in. She gave me great advice on how to take care of my skin more. I recommend Dr. Ducharme. Professional on all levels.

She spotted a melanoma spot the everyone overlooked for years. Scaped and had pathology verify and was successfully and promptly removed. Having been around many cancer doctors from the UofI this young lady raised the bar.
