Dr. Giacomini attended Southern Illinois University School of Dentistry in the St. Louis metropolitan area where she was awarded Doctor of Dental Medicine. Following graduation in 1994, moved to Tennessee. Dr. Giacomini is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and Blount County Dental Society. She also participates in many continued education courses with focus on dental implants.
She and her husband, Tom, have four children that keep them busy. Much of their free time is spent on the lake and enjoying family outdoor activities.
