Dr. Grimsby was exceptionally patient, informative, and compassionate. She took the time to explain my condition in terms I could easily understand, and we thoroughly discussed my options as well as what the future might hold. It was clear that she genuinely cared about me as a person-I never felt like just a number. Her thoughtful and personalized approach made a difficult situation much easier to navigate.

This was the best doc visit ever. She was super informative and encouraging and left me feeling confident that my issues can be managed without surgery. I was so glad I saw her. She was awesome!

Dr. Grimsby is a rare find. She never rushes you or treats you as a 'number'. She actually listens and even better 'hears' what you are saying.

This doctor has a good bedside manner however, she missed a life threatening diagnosis for an extended amount of time while I was under her care. I can only speculate (since there wasn’t honest communication about the specific adverse event) that she didn’t think she had any responsibility in what happened to me. I disagreed as I saw her monthly for over a year and she saw me deteriorate rapidly. This website also lists that she provides surgical aftercare so hence would fall under her as shared responsibility along with other doctor specialists. She refused to communicate about what had actually transpired which led to a great loss of trust in the relationship. I felt completely betrayed as I never in a million years would have expected her to conceal information about my health from me. I asked for a referral to another specialist due to the breach in the relationship and she then proceeded to say that she did not need to refer me because she could take care of my needs. My… position was that when she concealed information from me (her patient) it quickly destroyed the integrity of what is supposed to be a fiduciary relationship. I hope my situation is never repeated and I am sure she will have learned from this experience. My advice would be to be cautiously optimistic if you are contemplating making an appt with Dr. Grimsby. If you have a straightforward situation she will be a good doctor for you. However, please be aware that if there is a complication or a missed diagnosis she will not be forthcoming with that information. If full disclosure of your health is important to you, you may want to choose a different doctor.
