Dr. Erin Hopkins, DO

Erin Elizabeth Hopkins, DO, specializes in internal medicine with a focus on adult and geriatric care. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University DCOM in Harrogate, Tennessee, and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Dr. Hopkins has served as a hospitalist at Baptist Health Hospital in La Grange and U of L South in Shepherdsville, where she managed complex cases and responded to critical situations. She also worked as a senior primary care physician at CenterWell Senior Primary Care, emphasizing preventative care and removing barriers to healthcare access. Her leadership experience includes serving as Chief Medical Student and chairing the Medical Student Education Committee, as well as participating in an ethics committee to guide end-of-life decisions. Outside of medicine, Dr. Hopkins enjoys gardening, reading, swimming, hiking, traveling, playing guitar, attending live …music events, and spending time with her dogs.
