Dr. Erin Alice Kalua, MD

I saw Dr. Kalua awhile ago. She did not address the issue I saw help for but instead ordered a bunch of tests which I did. She said she would only address my primary issue if I saw a rheumatologist and referred me to someone two and a half hours away who charges $650 for an initial consultation and does not take my j Durante. She failed to advise me that I had the option of flying to Honolulu which my insurance would cover. I then tried to contact her repeatedly to find out the results of the tests I did and was told several times that she was too busy to call me back. After several attempt to speak with her I changed doctors. She NEVER called back. The stress of dealing with this situation can never be helpful regardless of what is causing one to seek medical help. I checked the lowest star which stands for poor and could not change it to bad. This woman's procedures are not acceptable to me at all as a patient.

I'm a nurse so not easy to impress...Dr Kalua was direct, kind and listens. A rarity today.
