Never felt listened to, got my diagnosis wrong and the medication she prescribed did not help with the issues I came to see her for disregarded the recommendations of my other physicians and true to have me go to doctors she says unable to give me a referral to.

Ms. Kim should not be practicing or in the profession she is in. Worst experience I have had and I have had many. She is very nonchalant and does not seem to genuinely care about her patients.

Where to begin.. When it comes to Ms. Kim’s knowledge on the human psyche, and how to treat it, there is no denying her credibility as a practicer of psychiatric medicine; She is clearly qualified to conduct this branch of study, and offers clear and concise insight on it. However, her sense of morality is surely to be questioned.. I was scheduled to have an appointment with Ms. Kim, one of which I was happy to see through, up until a very sudden (clearly extenuating circumstance) that was utterly out of my control had arose that led me to cancel our session. I contacted Ms. Kim to address it, as well as inform her ahead of time that I would be unable to attend, in which she “understood” and confirmed that I had given her enough time to situate herself for her upcoming work schedule given my (in all honesty not so sudden considering I emailed her a day prior) cancellation. I was then billed a cancellation fee for what I could only imagine is some sort of absurd form of punishment for… inconveniencing my provider (that of which was confirmed by her to not be the case given her initial response). Clearly I attempted to receive a refund as I do not believe I, the patient, should be penalized for something out of my control. I contacted the billing department for Grow Therapy, and was met with kindness, alongside understanding for my case by one of their billing representatives who Informed me that Ms. Kim was requested to initiate a refund (as she is in control of this fee) based on a clear exception.. I was then deliberately denied a refund because (and I quote) “there are no exceptions to cancellations other than hospital admittance.” Now, you must ask yourself: Do you believe you, as a patient, should be financially penalized for a situation completely out of your control, then denied a refund when said situation was clearly one of which that warranted one? If you said no, then congratulations! You are someone who operates behind logic, and reasoning. If you said yes, then I implore you to schedule an appointment with her, as she is more than happy to penalize you with no real logical basis, and refuse to accommodate those who desperately need it.
