Dr. Erin J Klaffky, MD

I saw Dr. Erin Klaffky following an emergency visit at my GP’s office for extreme lip swelling, diagnosed two weeks previously as Angioneurotic Edema. She saw that I also had oral ulcers and cysts of oral soft tissues around the mouth, and immediately called specialists at UVa Medical Center and arranged for me to see an esteemed dermatologist, who ascertained that most likely this problem is caused by a delayed reaction to hyalaronic fillers. Today I saw a plastic surgeon who injected cortisone in the affected sites. Had it not been for the care and concern of Dr. Klaffky, I don’t know what I would do. She was unsure whether a food or medication caused this reaction, and she referred me to people who are finally helping me with this mystery. A blood panel was ordered, and Dr. Klaffky called the following day to inquire about my symptoms. Her empathy and care are very much appreciated, as is her time spent with me. I am confident my crisis is being resolved following two… weeks of suffering. I will definitely continue to see Dr. Klaffky should any more problems arise, as I can confidently recommend anyone who needs a good and caring diagnostician to see her. Rosemary Hill-Erdman

This office is interesting and entirely unhelpful. They just want to order procedures but nothing gets translated into results for the patients. My husband and both daughters have moved on after fooling around with this office for almost 2 years. What a waste of time and money for hardworking families. To make things worse, they think that they are the "leaders in allergy and asthma care"! Countless hours were wasted sitting around waiting for providers at this office, only to be told to take some Zyrtec! I can buy that off the shelf in the pharmacy!! want my time and money refunded!
