Erin Langfels DMD
Dr. Erin Caylor Langfels was born, raised, and educated right here in Lexington. She attended Lafayette High School and then the University of Kentucky where she graduated summa cum laude with her degree in business administration. Dr. Langfels continued her education at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. There she coordinated the free Saturday Morning Clinics where hundreds of underserved children received much needed dental care. She also served as president of the American Association of Women Dentists where she founded and organized the annual Smiles for Life Fall Fashion Show, Brunch, and Silent Auction. This fundraiser has raised over 30,000 dollars to date and benefits the oral health care needs of women and children from the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program. Dr. Langfels was also the recipient of the award of excellence in restorative dentistry from the American Academy of General Dentistry, the award for service excellence for her …involvement in Saturday Morning Clinics and the American Association of Women Dentists, and the Sharon K. Butler scholarship for excellence in academics, dentistry, and service. Dr. Langfels is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, and serves on the board for the Blue Grass Dental Society. When not practicing dentistry she enjoys spending time with her husband, Derrick Langfels, parents, Joe and Donna Caylor, and papillon puppy, Maddie. Dr. Langfels honors her promise to provide the best possible oral health care to her patients and is proud to serve her community.
