Dr. Erin Kathleen Mccormick, MD

She was kind and caring when I initially visited her in 2008. For the most part, I continued to visit Dr. McCormick's office on at least an annual basis thereafter (through 2024). By about 2016, she seemed fairly irritable and upset much of the time. In 2024, as Dr. McCormick was retiring with very little notice, she seemed like a truly mean and unhappy soul. Hopefully she'll discover something in this world that will get her back on the right track. I know I won't miss her whatsoever!

I went and got a vasectomy done and surgery went ok but after surgery I went to leave a sample to see if I’m sterile and never got a phone call. Called a few times but they always make it seem like I’m calling them at a bad time. Quick to take my money but can’t follow up at all once they got what they cared for. 3 months later and still waiting for a phone call.

I had a lot of pain from an operation by this doctor. She would not give pain medication, or call my wife back, and it put me back in the hospital.

After a procedure for kidney stone removal, Dr. McCormick assured me that the procedure was successful. Over the next few days, my pain become unbearable. After repeated attempts to speak with her, she refused to answer my questions or give me any kind of pain medication stronger than Tylenol. She told me to take a hot shower for the pain!?? I ended up in the E.R. and was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery. A doctor informed me that my kidney was super swollen, and one of the large stones had become stuck in my ureter, causing all the pain! Dr. McCormick had lied about the procedure being successful. She was notified that I was admitted to the hospital, and yet, she never called to check on me...Now I may have to have another surgery to fix what she destroyed! She didn't care about my pain. She only wants insurance money and doesn't care about her patients well-being!

Dr Mccormick's professionalism and compasion is a true testimony of one of the greater Doctors I've met in my life. She goes over and beyond her call of duty. I was blessed to have had her as my doctor.

I wish to express my sincere appreciation for the professional level of medical care I received from you, your office staff and nurses from pre-prostate surgery, through the surgery and post-surgery. Every need was provided by nothing less than total professionalism. As a patient that had gone through a major surgical procedure, I wish I could find betters wording other than “thank you.” I know beyond any reasonable doubt, my recovery to the level of healing after only a few days released from the hospital has to do with your expertise in your field. My procedure was more massive than a normal prostate operation procedure to the extent the normal three- and half-hour procedure lasted nearly 6 hours. Yet, you did not allow tiredness and other limitation restrict your goal to make sure I achieve the best medical service you could provide. In addition, throughout the surgery procedure, you personally made sure my daughter Jeneria was kept informed and updated, and after surgery was… completed you took time to give Jeneria the results of the operation in more details with pictures. That information was vital because Jeneria was tasked to keep the rest of the family updated. Harlingen, South Texas, State of Texas and beyond has the best urologist in the country and that person is you. I’m so pleased of the services you provided I had to let others know of you.

Office help very inadequate.

Dr. McCormick performed my surgical procedure with such compassion and professionalism. She diagnosed me and treated me like family. I am extremely pleased and appreciative for all that she has done for me. Our community is extremely Blessed to have Drs. McCormick and Finger here to take care of us. Their office staff is also very helpful and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. McCormick and Dr. Finger!
