Dr. Erin Courtney Peterson, DO

I have EhlersDanlos, a connective tissue disorder. I cannot take many pain medications. So I went to her to try and manage my pain for a upcoming surgery and my fibromyalgia. She basically shuffled me off to a physical therapist only after I suggested that maybe dry needing would help with one issue. The pain managment for surgery was ignored and she only focused on my hip. Which she did a mri on but I never received clear results. Her statement was there is nothing that should be causing me pain even though I have a diagnosis of 3 herniated disks, degenerative disk disease, stenosis, facet joint arthritis, bursitis. Excetera. She was absolutely no help and there was profound issues with them changing appointment times or even just her neglecting to schedule a follow up. I think that she has gotten lazy or just treats her patient's as a paycheck, because she is the only pain "specialist" in the area. She was no help at all. I am still in pain and no closer to finding a relief. She… failed me and who knows how many others.

Dr. Peterson in fantastic. If I could only use one word to describe her it would be compassionate. She really listens to you and works WITH you to find something that will help you. She is one of those rare doctors that talk to you and not at you. She is very kind and seems to want to do anything she can to help you obtain your goal. She is no nonsense, but isn't afraid to smile either. My experience with her is very appreciated after seeing 7 other doctors who either didn't seem to care, or seemed to be more concerned for my insurance company than me. God Bless her.

Doctor Peterson is a great doctor. I am sure she is going to be one of the really good and well know upcoming pain doctors after she has already been at it for 10 years or more. She is a very good listener and shows a lot of compassion. She also manages acute rehab patients. She has been great for helping me. 5 STARS!!~
