Dr. Erin Elizabeth Piontek, MD

Dr. Piontek was my PCP back in 2018/2019. She is the reason I stopped believing that doctors care about their patient's health in the slightest. I was extremely sick for about 2 years with an undiagnosed illness. Nausea, vomiting, unexplained dramatic weight loss, etc. After not being able to diagnose me for almost 2 full years, she completely gave up trying to figure out what it was and accused me of having an eating disorder. I was so sick that I was in the ER multiple times a month, had to have multiple procedures (including a colonoscopy & endoscopy) at 24 years old, had to take a year and a half off from college, and had to quit my job because I was bed-ridden. Being sick ruined my life for 2 years and this doctor, Dr. Piontek, showed absolutely no regard for my physical, metal, or emotional health. I've gone back and forth for years on whether to speak up about it. I hope this helps somebody in making their choice on a PCP.

What a horrible doctor she is cold and dismissive. I understand that she has big shoes to fill after having a terrific doctor. I have given her a fair try but I can't continue to go to a doctor that can't be bothered to look over my records prior to telling me I needed tests for illnesses I am being treated for. Very disappointing

She is amazing with my 8 and 10 yr old we have seen her for years.. We are sadden that she is moving and will not able to be my childrens doctor anymore.

Not only can u make a same day appointment but I have never waited any more than 10 minutes. Dr. Piontek is a very caring doctor and I value her ability to patiently listen and give useful information that allows me to make educated decisions when it comes to my kids health.

I find it interesting that I have posted negative feedback for this doctor and everytime I post it, it mysteriously disappears from this site. This has happened 3 times now. She completely dismissed me and misdiagnosed a condition that actually needed surgery to correct. But she told me I was "fine" and everything was "normal". Horrible.

i have been a patient of Dr.Piontek for a while now and she cares so much about me and my kids and takes time and just really checks everything out on us...Good to know there is a good Doctor out there still.
