Dr. Shiner is a wonderful doctor. She cares about me and my arthritis and she makes sure I understand the treatment. I have recommended her to many of my friends.

I strongly believe in reflection before writing an unpleasant review and stayed true to that point here. My concern for anyone being treated by Erin Shiner is unmeasurable. Please find someone else. You deserve better for yourself and should be in the hands of a capable physician who is sincerely concerned for your health. She certainly didn’t show me she possessed those qualities. If I could give a zero rating I would. Absolutely regret not listening to the negative reviews already left here. They were completely accurate.

Dr. Shiner is wonderful. She really cared about my pain and wanted to help me. She took the time to talk about the medications and what I could expect.

There is a shortage of rheumatologists here so it took months to wait until the appointment. Finally got to see her and had a new patient exam. I was satisfied with her exam and treatment plan.

I gave her 2 stars because i believe she knows her job and knows what she is doing, her problem is taking the time to find out what the issue actually is. There are so few specialist in our area that they end up taking on more patients than they can keep up with. When you have to wait 2-3 months to see someone it is time to decline new patients so that you as a professional can care for the patients you already have. She literally cut me off mid question and flew out the door to the next patient. I left with more questions than I came with. I canceled my next appt and plan to find a doctor who isn't as swamped and willing to concentrate on my needs in the Dallas fort worth area. If your Insurance allows it I would suggest doing the same thing. It is worth driving 2 hours for a doctor who can help you. From my understanding she is the best we have in our area and she just doesn't have the time for her patients.

"I have patients way worse than you", was not helpful to me at all.
