I had great experience with this provider. Very nice office environment. She is caring and takes her time explaining all the steps in detail.

I am typically not one to write reviews but I had to take the time to warn you about this doctor. 1st. For the exception of 1 person at the office, the staff is very unfriendly and and unhelpful. They appear as is they would rather be doing anything else rather than assisting you. 2nd. From day 1 with the doctor it was a very contentious. Without even knowing me or my situation she told me what medication i will be taking and how i will be taking it. I was treated as if i was a child. I have chronic back pain from scoliosis and the subsequent Harrington rods in my back. She did not seem to care that i live my life at a constant 5-7 pain level on a good day. Her primary concern does not seem to be managing your pain and getting you feeling better. Rather it feels like she just wants to get you out of her hair. There was never any conversation about how she intends to get me feeling better. She looked at her chart the entire time and almost refused to make eye contact. I was… a patient with her for about a year and this is how every single appointment went. With the new laws it is so hard to find doctors willing to treat for pain that i stayed with her out of necessity. I ended up getting discharged from her because I almost broke my foot over a weekend and had to go to the ER. They prescribed me 3-4 days of a supplemental pain medication because of the intense pain i was in and 2-3 months later she discharged me as patient because i received pain medication from another doctor. This happened without notice and without any conversation. I called her several times but i was told by her staff that she was refusing to call me back. I have since found a doctor that i am very pleased with. He is a little far from Rockwall but it is well worth the drive! STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR. You will regret it!

During initial appointment, Dr. Silav never examined me - just asked where my pain was which I showed her. Had an MRI and on follow-up appointment would discuss what procedure would be best for my condition plus have the procedure in her office. Talked to nurse on 2nd appointment. She took me to the "procedure" room. I had to ask what was going to be done. Dr. Silav came in and asked me where most of my pain was - lower back or legs. I asked why she needed to know this and asked what the MRI showed. Response was that I had a bulging disc on left side and that depending on where my pain was worse would determine what medication and needle she would use. Over the next week, my pain was worse than prior to the injections. I made appointment with a previous doctor I had used (and should have never changed from). I was examined, explained where and why my pain was originating. I had an injection procedure Tuesday in a hospital with all the proper equipment. I have no pain today, Wednesday.

dont bother going for help to her, she could care less about your pain, never calls back, bedside manner is awful, negative 5

Dr. Silav is fantastic! She is the reason for the two stars. Her staff however, is horrible. Not once has my phone call been returned the same day as her voicemail says and I am now on day 4 of waiting to get my prescription refilled. If her staff put forth half the effort she does it would be a 5 star review.

This doctor was recommended by a friend. I called them and explained that I wanted to change pain management drs. I told them I was on work comp. The lady said ok and they would be back in touch with me. Well 3 weeks later I still hadn't heard from them. I called them back and asked her where we stand on the change, she put me on hold and then she came back and told me they were still waiting to talk to my dr and gave me the wrong dr's name. When I said that was not the right doctor, her tone of voice changed and her exact words were" well it doesn't matter which dr. because we do not accept work comp cases." Yet they couldn't bother to call me and tell me this. If I could give a -5 star I would.
