Dr. Erin Lu-Ai Yao-Cohen, MD

I had an appointment with Dr. Yao-Cohen & words can’t describe how impressed I was by her patient care. It was my first time at Kaiser and I was nervous not knowing what to expect, but all of my fears were put to rest once I met Dr. Yao-Cohen. She was punctual, thorough, and attentive. I had a long history of past medical issues I wanted to discuss & she took the time to go through everything & set up all the follow up care I needed. I could not thank her enough for exceeding the expectations of how ALL doctors should be.

After scheduling a one hour appointment, dr yao shows up thirty minutes late. Have a lot of questions? You can only ask a minimum of four, to which she quickly glides over, explaining, quite minimally, what the issues might be. After she provides you with ten minutes, even though she showed up late, and you still have twenty minutes on the clock, she refuses to discuss any additional medical concerns you may have. Any further inquiries must be brought up at the next appointment and not a moment sooner. Because her time is valuable and yours is not. Getting time off for appointments is not easy for most people. Having that time go to complete waste just to schedule more wasted time? No thank you. Save yourself the trouble.
