Dr. Ernest Wayne Campbell, MD

He was my family physician for more than fifty years. He is brilliant and compassionate. My grandparents and parents loved and trusted him. My husband and I, and our grown children miss him! His patients were also friends. He loved us and cared for us. He also actually listened to us and believed that we provided information vital to a diagnosis and treatment. That is why he was always right. That is why he was the first physician to realize that Legionnaires Disease was connected to the Philadelphia convention in 1976, which helped to save lives. I cried when he told me that he would be retiring. We still lament his absence, because no one could ever take his place. But he deserves a wonderful. exceedingly long retirement! My happy thought is that Dr. Campbell loves and serves Jesus Christ; so I will be seeing him often in eternity.
