Dr. Cheng holds a special interest in the evaluation and conservative management of degenerative spinal disorders and is skilled in a wide array of interventional pain management procedures (fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided). He is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Pain Medicine. He is a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) for the state of California and treats industrial musculoskeletal injuries on a regular basis.
In addition to treating sports related injuries, Dr. Cheng has a keen interest in the functional performance enhancement of athletes as well as proper training methods to prevent recurrence of injury. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a Certified Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting.
